Help support the care and development of the Zilker Botanical Garden! This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity, but we request that you register yourself for all shifts you plan to attend. If you are brining a child under the age of 18 with you, please contact lindsay.loftin@austintexas.gov as you will need to complete and submit a youth volunteer waiver 24-hours or more before you attend.
This event could involve:
- Removing soil from a garden bed to prep the bed for replanting
- Planting
- Removing brush
- Mulching
- Weeding
- Pruning
- Compost maintenance
- Assisting with special event setup
Please arrive prepared to work outdoors with work gloves, closed-toed shoes, a full water bottle, and sun hat
