Austin Bonsai Society – Demonstration of Root Grafting Techniques for Bonsai
Join the Austin Bonsai Society February meeting! Brandon Baldauf of Hawkeye Bonsai will demonstrate root grafting on a Texas Cedar Elm bonsai. He will discuss topics such as the best time of year for root grafting, techniques, caring for the tree after the graft, and answer questions from the audience.
About the Presenter
Brandon Baldauf has been a bonsai practitioner for over 10 years. He operates a business – Hawkeye Bonsai – where he sells bonsai and related materials (soil, pots, etc.), provides education on the topic of bonsai, and works on trees for clients.
