Event Details
Join the Bamboo Society to revitalize and maintain the beautiful Taniguchi Garden at Zilker Botanical Garden. Meet interesting people, enjoy time outdoors, and support beauty in your community! This opportunity is for garden volunteers over the age of 18 only, thank you.

This event could involve:

  • Removing brush
  • Mulching
  • Weeding
  • Pruning

Please arrive prepared to work outdoors with work gloves, closed-toed shoes, a full water bottle, and sun hat. You will be provided with any tools required to complete the project.

The garden gate opens at 9 am. When you arrive at the garden, show your GivePulse confirmation email to the gate staff at check-in to receive free admission for the day. Once you’ve checked in, please park in our volunteer parking lot, which is down a dirt road from our regular parking lot, then walk to the flagpole in front of the main Garden Center building and your group leader will direct you from there.
